Some pupils come to the teacher’s table and take the cards with words. They read them and stick near the pictures on the blackboard.

III.            Phonetic warm – up
Teacher: We all like school. It’s funny. I like morning very much and these children like it too. Do you like it? Then let’s learn and sing this song.

For the phonetic warm-up the teacher presents the song Good morning! Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening! Good evening! Good night! Good night! Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you too! Good bye! Good bye! See you!

Teacher: You sing very well. Do you like school? What can you see in your bag?
Pupil 1: I can see a pencil.
Pupil 2: I can see a pencil-box….
Teacher: Now you’ll get some cards with school things  and your task is to show and say to your neighbour what you like.
The pupils work in pairs. They in turn say to each other what they like or don’t.

Teacher: I see that you all like school. But other children also like it. Who can say me what they like?

The children read the text again individually and draw the pictures of school things.
